The directorial debut from writer/director Brian DiLorenzo, is a pitch black love letter to indie cinema, told through the eyes of young college student Alex (Justin Andrew Davis), as he encounters his filmmaking idol JP Smith(Nicholas Tucci) in a sleepy town in upstate New York.

Together they form a precarious relationship, with JP making Alex the star of his next film: a lo-fi, vérité depiction of Alex’s life, where the line between reality and fiction slowly becomes obliterated.

Things get even more complicated with the arrival of Ruby (Sadie Scott), the beguiling young woman whom Alex falls for; vying for her affection from the effortlessly cool Josh (Connor Dylan). All of this plays out under the watchful eye of JP’s camera, while his producer Nora (Alex Beechko) struggles to make the pieces fit.

“Myth” is still currently out on the festival circuit but will be updating regularly with screening dates and viewing information.
